Welcome SDA Members!

We are very excited for the 2008-2009 school year and we are so happy that you are with us! We will be having a number of great activities including our opening social and we hope you can make it.

Dietetics and Nutrition courses have been a staple of BYU programs since the 1920s. From 1996-1998, Dietetics was transitioned into its own major so that students could earn a Bachelors of Science in Dietetics with Dr. Nora Nyland being selected as the Program Director. We are so grateful for all of the hard work that Dr. Nyland and many others have done to make the Dietetics program the great program that it is. With that in mind, we work very hard here at SDA to build an engaged student body that will continue to support and build our dietetic program for the years to come.

For this year, we have completely relauched the website. Please let us know what you think of it - any feedback is appreciated!

As far as the Dietetics program goes, if you have any problems or questions, please do not hesitate to ask a senior - they've gone through it themselves and are happy to help!
